Acne is not a real problem. It is a temporary skin condition that is experienced as an embarrassing and uncomfortable problem. However, in recent times there is a wide spectrum of different treatments for acne. Yet, if your skin becomes too oily, acne will happily flourish on you. Why do I get oily skin? Our skin has what is known as sebaceous glands that secrete sebum. Sebum is a natural skin moisturizer that protects our skin from infections caused by microbes. Sebum is a secretion of fats or lipids combined with dead skin cells. Sebaceous glands steadily keep producing sebum. This will ooze out through the porous skin and your skin feels oily. This happens when sebum production happens far more than what is required. Why only some people get oily skin? That is a very genuine and innocent question. As has been said earlier, sebum causes oily skin. When sebaceous glands become overactive, more sebum is produced than necessary. The major reason for the excessive sebum production is the hormonal activity. The problem of oily skin is predominantly seen in women since sebum secretion increases during menstrual periods. In addition to what you do to manage oily skin, consult your doctor seeking a way to restrain the androgens which trigger excessive sebum production. Oily Skin, the Best Flourishing Ground for Acne There cannot be a better place for acne condition to develop and flourish. When the excess sebum and the dead skin cells accumulate to clog the pores in the skin, a bacterium called P.acnes flourishes in that accumulation and gradually erupts and shows up as acne. If you find your skin being oily despite your trying to maintain it oil-free, the chances of your getting acne are very high. Be watchful.

The value of drinking enough water can’t be underestimated. Your body needs water for all sorts of things, including proper cleansing, good cellular health, and simply keeping your body functioning. But perhaps you didn’t know the affect that it has on your skin. Your skin is made up mostly of water, and when it drops below a certain level, your skin dries up and starts creating dead skin cells. Dead skin cells, in turn, clog your pores, and eventually create an acne outbreak.
Drinking enough water also helps you flush toxins from your blood, colon, and kidneys. By drinking enough water, you will be flushing more through your system (and eventually out of your system through urination) and eliminate more toxins. The cleaner your blood, colon, and insides, the more healthy your skin will be, and the less problems you’ll have with acne.
Since we’re using this water to help cleanse, it’s important that the water you’re drinking is clean and pure. There are lots of ways you can ensure that you are drinking clean water, you can certainly buy it bottled, but this isn’t usually necessary. There are lots of inexpensive filtration systems on the market, many that either use reverse osmosis, or use a pitcher with a filter attached. Both will clean virtually all impurities out of the water you are drinking, and do it at a fraction of the cost.
Fresh juice is another source to get clean water, but coffee, soda and beer or wine is not. The chemicals, sugars and drugs in these drinks will actually make you less clean on the insides. If you are drinking water with some fresh lemon in it, or other fresh fruit, you are doing just fine. Honey might be okay as well, but the more you put in the water beyond that, the less effective it will be.
Once you have your skin properly hydrated, another thing to consider is getting it enough natural light. By this, I mean sunlight. Expose your skin to enough sun and air, which will let it heal faster, and stay fresher. Don’t lie out in the sun for hours, as too much sun exposure is also harmful, but getting sun and air on your skin has long term benefits.

Here are 5 tips to help with acne prevention and treatment
and skin maintenance. They are listed in no particular
order of importance.
1. Get plenty of fresh air and sunshine for vitamin D,
ingredients for healthy skin. Not only will your skin
